Good morning Zebras,

Todays’ Oswald: “Have you made the following decision about sin-that it must be completely killed in you?”

Note that sin is singular, not plural. 

I have been told many times that God works on our sins one at a time, not true.  We work on our sins one at a time, God worked on SIN. 

Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—

Jesus Christ came and conquered sin and death and then gave us the opportunity to do the same.

I was never successful at overcoming individual sins, because it was like a game of whack-a-mole, I’d knock one down and another one would pop up until I realized God had given me the power to just turn off the game.

I know I keep saying the same thing, but quit trying so hard and put all of that energy to good use by getting to know God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Because if you are still stumbling and struggling there is one of them you don’t understand.
