Zebra Ministries
Welcome to the herd!
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

Don't Wait
Ephesians 5:15-17
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
Good morning Zebras,
I had this wonderful z-mail for you. It was all about my freezer and the frost that had built up inside. But when I sat down to write it this morning it just didn’t come out right.
After about an hour of trying to write the stupid thing I gave up and went to take a shower, a wonderful place to pray and talk to God. I asked Him why I was having so much trouble with today’s z-mail.
His reply was pretty quick. “You’re having trouble because I told you to do that on Saturday.”
Which was true.
But since I don’t write z-mails on Saturday I decided to wait until today. And therein lies the mistake.
We do God’s work on God’s timetable not ours. If God wanted me to write on Saturday I should have written on Saturday.
Thomas Jefferson said: "Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today." Good advice based upon Godly principles.
God says in the book of James: "you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow" and "Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins."
I knew I was supposed to write on Saturday, but I figured it could wait. I was wrong.
None of us know what tomorrow holds, only God knows and if He is prompting you to do something today He has a reason.
From personal experience I suggest you obey.
Love,
Jill
